Paper Playground is a children's art studio in Mohegan Lake, NY offering process-based art classes, toddler art and sensory play, after-school programs, school holiday camps, summer camps, birthday parties, family events, and open studio. Founded by former Pre-K teacher Shayla Cowan, Paper Playground provides imaginative, hands-on art experiences that encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Children explore a variety of art mediums—including painting, drawing, clay, papier-mâché, sewing, mixed media, and more—through unique, child-centered projects that celebrate the creative process. With small class sizes, experienced teachers, and a warm, welcoming environment, Paper Playground is a place where children can experiment, create, make friends, and leave proud of what they've made. We proudly serve families throughout Northern Westchester, including Mohegan Lake, Yorktown, Cortlandt Manor, Somers, Mahopac, and surrounding communities.
