What's good to know?
✨Two play areas - one very large and spread out one for 5+ and the other for our 2-5 tots
✨The tot area is set up kind of obstacle course style - very cute, great for gross motor skills
✨Lots of fun features like gears, wheels, spinning rainbow, games built into the larger equipment
✨Ramps make parts accessible
✨Multiple slides, none very high
✨Baby swings, traditional swings, beach swings
✨Free parking, which brings me to... Not gated and right next to parking lot. There is a fence between some of the play space and the parking lot, but there's also open areas.
✨It's a big space. It was great bringing my 5 y.o., but I sweat it sometimes with toddlers. Better with partners or multiple moms. I don't love coming alone with multiples.
✨Can lean on the busy side on weekends, during pool times. It's not one of those hidden gems that's tucked away. It's part of Westchester County Parks and it's wonderful, well-resourced and well-maintained, but I'm giving you all the info for your planning and comfort level.
✨Some picnic tables, some shade under trees, but not in play structures
