The documentary follows four tenacious Girl Scouts as they compete to become top-selling “Cookie Queens,” navigating the highs and lows of Girl Scout Cookie season. With big goals, friendly competition, and plenty of cookies at stake, the film offers an intimate look at the joys and pressures of growing up, all through the eyes of the girls at its center.
Executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Cookie Queens is more than a film about selling cookies. It’s a celebration of girlhood and the complicated mix of confidence, friendship, pressure, and ambition that comes with finding your place in the world. Director Alysa Nahmias captures both the fun and the stakes of the experience, creating a moving portrait of childhood and a uniquely American tradition. Rated G.
