May 22, 2026

Summer officially begins at Six Flags Great Adventure as the park launches daily operations beginning Thursday, May 21, marking the start of nonstop thrills, entertainment and family fun through Labor Day weekend.

From May 21 through September 7, guests can enjoy daily access to world-class roller coasters, family attractions, entertainment, dining and more at the park as the summer season gets underway.

The return of daily operations comes as Six Flags Great Adventure continues unveiling major enhancements across the property, including the debut of Shoreline Pier at The Boardwalk, an all-new themed area featuring five new attractions, expanded dining options and fresh entertainment experiences. Guests can also experience the return of the Safari Off-Road Adventure with in-park boarding, included with park admission.

“Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and we’re excited to welcome guests for daily operations at Six Flags Great Adventure,” said Mike Fehnel, Park President of Six Flags Great Adventure. “With exciting new additions, returning guest favorites and unforgettable experiences across the park, there’s never been a better time for families and thrill seekers to visit.”

Guests visiting throughout the summer can experience:

  • Record-breaking roller coasters including Nitro, Jersey Devil Coaster, El Toro and THE FLASH: Vertical Velocity
