CLIXO® and Westchester Children’s Museum Launch Exhibit

Clixo brings its flexible building and open-ended creative play philosophy to Westchester families

By Jennifer Laski and Kelly Fitzpatrick May 13, 2026

Clixo, the innovative, versatile magnetic toy line from award-winning toy design studio Toyish Labs, and the Westchester Children’s Museum announced today a 2-year partnership bringing Clixo’s creative, building system to the museum in a new magnetic play installation open now through May 2028.

The Museum has opened a new installation exhibit with Clixo, where visitors can play with over 1,500 magnetic Clixo pieces in various shapes and colors. Visitors can freely build with the pieces at tables in the exhibit or attach creations to the surrounding magnetic wall panels. Customized Clixo creations, such as hot air balloons and planes, are hanging from the ceiling. Additionally, Clixo building prompts and activity suggestions are placed around the exhibit to help visitors get started building and inspire them to open up their imaginations.

"We are thrilled to bring the fun and learning power of Clixo to the Westchester Children’s Museum and the countless families who play there every day,” said Assaf Eshet, founder of Toyish Labs and inventor of Clixo. “Clixo was created to help everyone unlock their creative potential by allowing for endless building possibilities. We’ve successfully brought Clixo’s creativity to many museums thus far, including the Museum of Art and Design, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Ice Cream, and the Liberty Science Center. The Westchester Children’s Museum is renowned for expanding arts and science education in Westchester County, and Clixo fits naturally into their STEAM exhibits. I’m excited to see what visitors to the museum will build, and I look forward to bringing the learning power of Clixo to more museums and educational facilities this year.”

Clixo offers a variety of building experiences to kids and adults with classic packs and themed packs, including Tropical Birds, Dino Adventure, and Mars Rovers. Clixo is a 6-time Toy of theYear (TOTY) finalist and has been recognized as a top toy by Good Housekeeping, Parents, Toy Insider, and other notable organizations. Clixo has also been authenticated by STEM.org as an Educational Product.

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Clixo to bring this one-of-a-kind interactive exhibit to the Westchester Children's Museum,” said Jeremy Scalchunes, Executive Director of the Westchester Children's Museum. “The Clixo wall creates an experience that blends creativity, engineering, art, and open-ended play in a way that truly engages both children and adults together. One of the things I love most about Clixo is that every visit can feel completely different, giving families endless opportunities to build, experiment, and connect with one another. We’ve already seen firsthand how naturally this exhibit encourages imagination, collaboration, and joyful family engagement across generations.” To experience the exhibit and get started building, please visit https://www.discoverwcm.org/ or come to the museum at 100 Playland Pkwy, Rye, NY.
