Tales of the Wild

Tales of the Wild blends storytelling, role play, and outdoor exploration, inviting younger campers into a world where creativity and nature go hand in hand.
Students might:

Woodland Warriors
The forest needs defenders! In this brand-new session, participants become a woodland warrior that learns the art of camouflage, studies the mysteries of the forest and conducts secret missions to protect the forest and its residents from the evil that lies in the shadows. Perfect for young adventures and those with a warrior’s soul at heart.
Activities focus on:
- Understanding environmental challenges in our local community

Way of the Blade
Best for students seeking nature skill-building, focus, discipline, and self-mastery
Way of the Blade blends the worlds of woodworking tool use and swordsmanship to give participants the discipline and control to use both safely. Explore woodworking tools like the saw, rasp, and carving knife through the creation of a variety of crafting projects while making and using your own safe practice sword and learning forms to use it properly.
Through carefully guided activities, students learn:
- Focus and emotional regulation
- Respect for self and others
- Confidence through controlled movement
- Mindfulness and intention in physical practice
This program is an excellent fit for children ready for deeper skill-building and personal growth.
