Fireworks and 4th of July Happenings in and around Westchester County

Are you a Westchester County family looking for great spots to catch Fourth of July festivities and fireworks?  Macaroni KID Armonk - Chappaqua - Mount Kisco - Pleasantville has rounded up a variety of events with fireworks all around Westchester County.  Fireworks events are listed in date order below.

June 28th  

Pound Ridge 

4:30 - 10 p.m.
Bring your own chairs and blankets to enjoy the show with food trucks and live music before the fireworks display. Due to space constraints, walking is encouraged.  A shuttle is available from Pound Ridge Elementary School.

Lewisboro

The Town Board is so pleased to present and bring back a fun filled day of entertainment and fireworks to the residents of the Town to celebrate Independence Day.  Come out and enjoy the fun and excitement and be among family, friends and neighbors.  Don't forget your blankets, chairs and flashlights.

July 2nd 

White Plains High School 

550 North Street, White Plains, NY

Enjoy entertainment including music and inflatables, as well as food, prior to the fireworks display

July 3rd-5th 

Rockland Boulders

Ticketed events. Start times vary.  Post-game fireworks.

July 3rd 

Reis Park, Katonah

Bring a blanket to enjoy the BBQ, music, and games at Reis Park. The night ends with fireworks.

Kensico Dam, Valhalla 

The annual Music Fest and Fireworks event at Kensico Dam will take place on July 3rd.  Admission and parking are free, and carpooling is strongly suggested due to limited space.  Lawn chairs or blankets and picnic baskets are recommended. Enjoy pre-concert entertainment including a DJ and the Naked Soul Band at 7 p.m.  Fireworks begin at 9pm.  

Louis Engel Park, Ossining

Music, food trucks, beverages and FUN at Louis Engel Waterfront Park with the kickoff to summer fireworks show. Summer concerts are 7:00pm-9:00pm, however for the July 3rd Fireworks the shows are at 5:00pm and 7:30pm.

Putnam Valley Park, Putnam Valley

The evening begins with the annual cornhole tournament followed by live music and fireworks.

Hudson Valley Renegades   

Ticketed event.  Post-game fireworks.

July 4th  

Caramoor, Katonah

The Westchester Symphonic Winds perform at 8pm and fireworks follow at 9pm. Adult tickets start at $59, child tickets at $28.

Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck

The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department will host their 2025 Firemen’s Carnival at Harbor Island Park from Thursday, June 26th through Saturday, July 5th. Highlights of the fair include the annual Fireman’s Parade on June 27th at 7pm – held along Mamaroneck Ave to Harbor Island Park, and a spectacular fireworks display on July 4th at dusk – approximately 9:15pm. (Rain date for the fireworks is July 5th.)

Barley Beach House, Rye

Buffet dinner, Hawaiian dancers and live music before the fireworks display. Deck seating is limited so bring your own blankets and chairs to set up in the sand.

Pierson Park, Tarrytown  

Kids zone, live music with KickStart Charlie, and food trucks.  It is strongly recommended that you take the train as parking is limited. 

Peekskill Riverfront 

Following the City of Peekskill Parade starting at 10:30am, enjoy more festivities at the Riverfront Summer Concert series followed by a fireworks display around 9:15.

Spark the Sound, New Rochelle

The annual Music Fest and Fireworks event at Kensico Dam will take place on Monday, July 3rd.  Admission and parking are free, and carpooling is strongly suggested due to limited space.  Lawn chairs or blankets and picnic baskets are recommended. Enjoy pre-concert entertainment including a DJ and the FDR Drive Band at 7 p.m.  Fireworks begin at 9:15. 

Boscobel, Garrison

Celebrate the 4th with a concert inspired by the holiday! Pack a picnic or enjoy the many food truck vendors. Tickets start at $28.

Memorial Park, Nyack

Bring your own picnic set up to enjoy live music and local food vendors before fireworks begin over the Hudson!

Walkway over the Hudson, Poughkeepsie  

General admission: $25

Be sky-high 212 feet up on the Walkway Over the Hudson to enjoy a festive fireworks display over the Hudson River.

Red, White and Boom Legoland, Goshen

Celebrate July 4th at LEGOLAND® New York Resort’s Red, White & BOOM! event featuring our unique fireworks extravaganza*. Join in on all the fun! Watch the fireworks transform into LEGO® bricks, dance to live music, build with LEGO, eat some themed foods, watch shows & more! All event activities are included in regular day admission. *Weather Permitting
